Earring Give-A-Way...

I'm feeling a bit generous this holiday season. Not sure why, because I'm anxious for the year to end...it hasn't been the best of years for my family or myself....way toooo many sad moments...with family and friends lost and gone forever. But...I am still grateful that I have a good life and better than some, so I take these moments, cherish them and make my best attempt to move on.  I know there are many good things to come in the future...I live each day as though it were my last, I tell those in my life how much I love them as many times as I can...for I know that in the flash of an instant they can be taken away from you.  You cannot tell someone how you feel about them after they are gone....so please take the time now to tell those that you love and care for--what your feeling are...your heart will be uplifted and it will not matter the outcome, because you put it out there...you will have a huge smile on your face! SOoooooo....on that note, my give-a-way is dedicated to my sister-in-law~~Kelly~~she was taken from my family suddenly and tragically on October 4, 2009.  She was only 37 and left behind a 4 year old and 7 year old. She was a great Mom & wife and was the kindest, most giving person that I know...will never be forgotten and always cherished.

Ok...enough mushy stuff, now on to the rules...

edesign: I'm sure you are an amazing Mom! I've taken my 4 yo nephew & 7 yo niece a few weekends over the last 2 months...and all I can say is that being a parent (MOM) is a lot of work, it amazes me that you all stay sane...I admire you all for giving your life to such precious treasures! Not sure I could do it full-time (actually I think it's full-time plus+++) :-)

  4. Hi Susan! I can really tell that you had a trying year and was nearly brought to tears in reading what you wrote. I cherish, like most, my family..a husband who loves me beyond what I deserve and healthy, happy kids. I think I cherish them even more because I've lived and seen enough to know exactly what you're trying to convey..there are no guarantees and it's soo important to enjoy each and every moment. Thanks for the reminder and for the great giveaway!

  5. DreamBelle...what a sincere post. Thank YOU for that. I am thankful for my Mother for making me who I am. Thankful everyday that she is still here to teach me those little lessons that make such a big difference. Oh, how I wish I would have not been so hard on her during those teen years. :)

  11. I am most thankful for our military and their families who make tremendous sacrifices and do it for all of us to be safe and free. My son was a Marine and away for too many Christmases and I cherish having my family with me. For those husbands, wives and children who will not have them around, let them feel our love and thanks for what they have given up. For the families who will be missing someone, embrace those who are close by and lean on them for support. For those away fighting, we cannot repay you for what you do for us. Happy holidays and may God keep them safe until they all return home!

  13. I cherish my husband. He has been supportive through so so much throughout our relationship. I am saved by his humour, his love, his warmth. He has helped me fight serious illness and still does, and I couldn't do it without him.

    Thanks for doing this giveaway!
    Much love.
